Robert G. Mathias, 83, of Aurora, passed away on September 21, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Marcia, son, Mark William (Sherry Dawn) Mathias, and daughter, Robin Ann Mathias, granddaughters, Caitlin Michelle Mathias and Caroline Victoria Mathias. Please join the family at 10:00 a.m. for coffee and donuts one hour prior to the Funeral Mass on Friday, September 27, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Ave Maria Catholic Church, 9056 E. Parker Road in Parker. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow the Memorial Mass at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 1:15 p.m., Staging Area "C". Robert was born in Joplin, MO, son of Clarence Paul and Myrtle Morris, now deceased. He married Marcia Thayer Collins on December 27, 1955 at Williams AFB, Arizona.He is a graduate of Joplin Jr. College, Arizona State University, and received his Master's Degree from Purdue University.USAF 5/51-6/78 Fighter pilot Korea, C-130 pilot Vietnam.
