Robert "Bob" William Mattke

ROBERT "BOB" W. MATTKE age 62 of Jefferson passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at his home. He was born on June 26, 1955 in Waukesha, son of the late David and Jaqueline (Bonus) Mattke. He married the love of his life and childhood sweetheart, LuAnn Kerr on December 1, 1973 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Rome. Bob had been employed at Klecker Heating and Cooling in Watertown for the past 18 years, and prior to that he had worked at Spuncast in Watertown for 25 years. He enjoyed deer hunting, woodworking, and spending time with his family. Bob was especially looking forward to his upcoming family trip to Florida for his son's wedding. Bob is survived by his loving wife, LuAnn Mattke and children Joseph (Emily Salemi) Mattke, Erin (Dan) Geyer, Sarah (Nick) Copsey, and Kristin (Shawn) Smith all of Jefferson, eight grandchildren - Gracie Geyer, Cayden Smith, Noah Copsey, Ava Geyer, Chloe Smith, Owen Copsey, Kendall Smith, and Isabella Copsey, sisters Sharon (Mike) Revolinski of Rome, Marilyn (Dave) Racewicz of Oconomowoc, and Holly (Kevin) Broedlow of Helenville, brothers and sisters in law, Linda Gallagher of Wautoma, Scott (Bonnie) Kerr of Wautoma, Brian Kerr of Wautoma, Lisa (Dale) Sukow of Jefferson, Kyle (Carol) Kerr of Phillips, Thomas Kerr of Jefferson, Tim (Laurie) Kerr of Jefferson, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and brothers William Mattke and Frederick Mattke. Visitation will be held Monday, November 20 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson and again on Tuesday, November 21 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Jefferson from 10:00-11:30 a.m. with funeral services immediately following presided by Rev. David Zandt officiating.
