Robert "Bobby" William Mavis

Robert “Bobby” Mavis, age 40, of Land O' Lakes, passed away on Wednesday November 13, 2019. He was born in Boonton, New Jersey and moved to New Port Richey, Florida when he was 8. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Mavis; sons, Kyle (18) and Evan (8); and daughter, Kendall (5); his mother, Cynthia Van Dunk; father, Leonard Van Dunk; brother, Eric Mavis and his wife, Katrina Mavis, and their son, Scott; and sister, Calena DeSouza and her husband, Marco DeSouza. Bobby was an avid sports fan and shared his love of baseball with his son, Evan. Together the two attended many sports events and planned to travel the country visiting the different baseball stadiums. He was always up for spending time with family and friends, and was one of the best people to be around; whether attending car shows, having water balloon fights, playing softball, or hanging by the pool, it was sure to be a good time in his company. Bobby was an amazing husband and father. He always put his family first and was there to support each member in whatever way he could. He was kind, loving, selfless, and someone everyone was naturally drawn to. He is loved by so many and will be missed greatly by everyone.
