Robert Andrew Moore

Robert passed away at 4:44 in the evening at Penrose - St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Bob was born in Los Angeles, California. He joined the United States Army in 1958. In 1964 he exited active duty. In 1964 he enlisted in the California National Guard. He served from 1964 to 1984. Bob retired in 1984 with the rank of E-8 Master Sergeant. Robert is survived by his sister, Marguerite Hernandez. Robert had 2 brothers, Paul Moore, who passed away in August, 1971, and Rene Rorick who passed in February, 1971. Robert, Paul and Maggies father was Floyd Hixton Moore; their mother was Lucienne Pepin. Robert and his siblings were raised by Lucienne and John Rorick. Robert met and married Eunice Linton in 1962 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, while he was stationed at Fort Carson. Together they raised four children, Paul Moore (Lauren), Andrew Moore (Maria), Michael Moore (Erika), and Julie Moore-Wheeler (Dennis). Paul and Lauren have one daughter, Kylie (Joe). Paul also has a son, Christopher (Stephanie). Andrew and Maria have one daughter, Alyssa. Andrew also has a son, Richard. Michael and Erika have one son, Robert and 1 daughter, Maddison. Julie and Dennis have one daughter, Katherine and one son, Jakob. Robert and Eunice, along with their six grandchildren, also have four great-grandchildren, Jakob, Abigail, Thomas and Charlotte. Robert has two nieces and two nephews, Christine Moore, Corinne Moore-Fox (Kevin), Greg Hernandez (Diana), and Eric Hernandez (Elena). Robert and Eunice lived in Fort Benning, Georgia; California; and then moved to Colorado, living in Colorado Springs for the remainder of his life. Bob loved the outdoors - Fishing, shooting, camping. He enjoyed carpentry, reading, and talk radio. His life centered around the love of his wife, family, and friends. Robert is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Andrew and Marguerite Pepin; his father, Floyd H. Moore; mother and step-father, Lucienne and John; brothers, Paul and Rene; and brother-in-law Christopher Hernandez. Robert Andrew Moore quietly believed in the Savior.
