"Sarasota, FL, Robert "Larry" Moore, 69, the wind taking his breath away, no windshield, of course, and the powerful roar of his Harley, were the best of times for Larry who passed away on July 8, 2017 in Sarasota, FL. Born April 13, 1948 in Ware, MA, Larry was the son of the late Walter H. Moore, Jr. of Indian Orchard, MA and the late Shirley A. Boyd of Peachtree City, GA. He served the United States of America during the Vietnam War. He lived for many years in Western Massachusetts, New York and Vermont. Later, he moved to Sarasota, FL where he lived for 35 years. He owned and operated a welding company in Sarasota. Sisters, Lynn Wallace of Peachtree City, GA, Kathleen Flynn of Roslindale, MA , and brother, Paul Boyd of New York, NY, spouses, and five nieces and nephews are heartbroken over his loss. Family and friends will gather to remember Larry on Monday, July 17 at 10:30 a.m. at the Beers and Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St, with a time of remembrances beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Quabbin Park Cemetery.
