Robert Dean Negley
July 12th, 1935 - April 11th, 2024
Robert Dean Negley, 88, passed away on April 11, 2024 at Colorado Springs Memorial Central hospice with his wife, Kay; son, Frank; daughter-in-law, Cathy; pastor, John (Connie) Rainey; and friend, Rich, at his side.
Robert was born on July 12, 1935 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Jacob S. and Lola Negley. Robert worked in the oil fields, was a meat cutter, was an armored guard for Wells Fargo, and was a cook for several large occasions at churches and senior centers.
He was preceded in death by his mother; dad; sister Earline; and three year old son Dennis.
Robert is survived by his wife of thirty-nine and a half years, Kay (Norwood) Negley; five children, Frank (Cathy) Negley, Lucinda (John) Weldon, Dorinda Colvin, Robert (Sandy) Negley Jr., and Lola (Mark) Hartnoll; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He loved to hunt, fish, cook, bake, and tell people about his lord and savior, Jesus Christ. He and his wife were faithful members of Faith Baptist Church.
Memorial Service 11:00AM, Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Faith Baptist Church 314 S Garo Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
