Robert E. Neznek

Robert "Bob" Edward Neznek, age 66, a native of the Scotch Bush, NY area, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012 due to heart failure. A lifelong pharmacist, Bob spent 20 years working in hospitals in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area after graduating from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI in 1968. Bob married Janet Kleihauer in 1967, and the family later moved to Connecticut where they lived until 1994. Bob moved to the Atlanta area in 1998, and had been living in Foley, Alabama since 2000. Bob was generous and kind to family, colleagues and friends. Not one to seek out the spotlight, he was always willing to listen with compassion. He loved to tend to his garden, sail and read. Bob's survivors include a son Kevin Heather R. Neznek of New York, NY,, a daughter Karen Joe Neznek Lambert of Winnetka, IL, a sister; Jean William Farry of Delanson, NY, two brothers; Edward Bud Neznek of Scotch Bush, NY and Richard Neznek of Fort Myers, FL, and grandchildren Hannah, Sophie, Moorea, and Tiegan. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Aleeta Brusoe Neznek and Edward Neznek. A memorial will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave Amsterdam, NY 12010. The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service on Saturday beginning at 12:00 Noon.
