Robert H. O'Connor
March 19th, 1943 - July 19th, 2014
"Robert H. O'Connor, 71, of Lathrop St., South Hadley, died July 19 at home following a hard fought battle with lung cancer. Born in Holyoke, March 19, 1943, he was the son of John F. and Ruth D. (Wagner) O'Connor. He lived in Berlin, NJ for many years, and Huffman, TX for a year, before returning to S. Hadley in May 2014. He served his country in the Air Force during Vietnam. While in Berlin, he owned a concrete contracting business. Previously he was a salesman for Scott Graphics and later a stockbroker for 11 years. He will be missed by his children, Kimberly Biss and her husband Gerald of St. Petersburg, FL, Broderick J. O'Connor and his wife Denise of Huffman, TX, and Michael O' Connor of Berlin, NJ. He also leaves 2 sisters Kathleen Bombard of S. Hadley, and Judith Oleson of Houston, TX along with several nieces and nephews and 2 grandchildren. All services will be held by family, privately, and Beers & Story S. Hadley Funeral Home has been entrusted with his final arrangements. "
