Robert Lee Paul
December 21st, 1947 - December 19th, 2020
Robert Lee Paul - December 21, 1947 - December 19, 2020 Boise, Idaho - Robert Lee Paul “Bob” 72, passed away peacefully 2 days before his 73rd birthday. Bob was 1 of 13 children born in Sidney, Ohio to James Richard Paul and Erma Velma Kies Paul. At 18 years old Bob volunteered for the U.S Navy and served during the Vietnam War (1965-1968) where he received several medals including 2 bronze stars in Vietnam. After completing his time in the service he met and married Victoria Chambers and from that union they had 5 children. He was quite the carpenter in his early days and could build just about anything; a skill he passed on to his sons. Bob loved to fish and play hard. You could say he was an icon in Boise’s north end and would often be found hanging around Hyde Park where he had many friends. He was always smiling, happy, charming and yet wild at the same time. He loved his children and grandchildren. He was proud of each of them. His children will be forever grateful to him for bringing them into the world no matter what the outcome was. We find comfort in knowing he was a believer. He is survived by his daughter, Jeanie Rae (Hugh); sons: Robert Paul (Stephanie), Sean Paul (Moira), Christopher Paul (Shannon) and daughter, Elizabeth Paul; grandchildren: Sydney, Kylee, Trey, Olivia, Victor, Levi, Deja, Destiny, Emily, and Cash; great grandchildren: DeZayah, Athena, Presley, Koda and Sophia; siblings: Gary (Anita) Paul, Ohio. Dale (Pam) Paul Louisiana. Joyce (Paul) Heinl, Keith Paul, Dawn (Dan) Steinke, Lynn (Toni) Paul, Kevin (Cheryl) Paul, Darla (Mark) Albers, Shelly Paul and numerous nieces and nephews... He was preceded in death by both his parents; sisters: Sharon (Donnie) Cisco and Cathy (Daryl) Fogt and brother, Jack Paul. From your kids: Dad we know you wanted to be better, to do more and maybe fell a bit short but we know you loved us...thank you.
