Robert L. Rabil

Rabil, Robert “Rob”, 48 of Tampa, passed away April 24, 2009 at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. He was born in Washington, D.C., went to school at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and moved to Tampa in 1997 from Maryland. He was the Chief Financial Officer and co-owner of Opis Management Resources. Rob was a member of the Knights of Columbus and an active participant and leader with St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church Building Committee. Rob enjoyed golf, fishing, going to the beach, collecting red wine and most of all spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Fern; daughter, Madeline; sons, Michael and Eric; mother and father, Suzanne and Louis Rabil of Washington, D. C.; brothers, Tom and wife Petra, of Boca Raton, FL and Dan and wife, Megan of Centennial, CO; maternal grandfather, Aubrey J. Bourgeois of Pensacola, FL. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. A private interment will follow. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 ~ 8 :00 P.M. at the Church.
