Robert D. Regina

Robert David Regina, 82, of Tucson, AZ, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at Tucson Medical Center Hospice (Peppi's House). Born July 11, 1933, in Waterford, PA, he was the son of the late Frank Joseph and Teresa Fabian Regina.He married Eva Rose Carbaugh on July 29, 1957 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Marienville, PA, and they spent a happy 59 years together. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by IBM for over 20 years. His passion was flying, and he also enjoyed playing the piano, photography and the outdoors.Surviving, in addition to his wife Eva, are two daughters, Annette Logan (James C.), of Fredericksburg, PA, and Amy Heckman (James), of Mescal, AZ; three sons, Gregory, of Tucson, AZ, Mark (Karen), of Webster Groves, MO, and Vincent, of Wendell, NC.Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Christine, Rebecca, Brandy, Robert, Megan, Alison, Margaret and Joseph; and two step-grandchildren, Alexander and Katherine. Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were four sisters and two brothers. Robert was the last of his immediate family.The family suggests memorial donations be made to Melanoma Research Foundation (www.melanoma.org).
