Robert George Roeder

ROEDER, Robert George 84, a resident of Tampa, Florida and formerly of Bloomfield Hills Michigan passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017. Born on March 24, 1933 in Catonsville, Maryland, Robert is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elizabeth; his five beloved children: Diane, Bob Jr. (Anne), Karen, Jim, and Tom; and his two cherished grandchildren, Robbie and Anya. At time of his death he had three surviving sisters: Lois, Florence, and Carolyn. Robert retired from Procter and Gamble after 40 years as an Executive Sales Manager. He was an active member of St. Hugo of the Hills Catholic Church in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan for 42 years. He was also an initial member of the St Mark the Evangelist Church where Father Austin Mullen sought Robert to lead the fund-raising effort and the building design of the original Church. He achieved 4th degree Knight as a Knights of Columbus. Member. Robert had a passion for traveling and a love for architecture and real estate. He was known for his green thumb as an avid gardener. A Wake will take place at 1:00 p.m. prior to the 2:00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9724 Cross Creek Blvd. Tampa Florida 33647.
