Robert LeeRoy Romero

LeeRoy went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 30, 2018. LeeRoy was born October 19, 1960 to Mr. Edward and Susana Romero in Springer, New Mexico. They moved to Colorado in 1967, where he met and married the love of his life Lori Vigil, having six children whom they both cherished and loved very much. LeeRoy is survived by sons Jimmy Romero of Loveland and Robert Romero (Salina) of Loveland; daughters Erika Vigil of Greeley, Kristina Cordova (Chris) of Ft. Collins, Antonia Chavez (Albaro) of Texas and Philycia Romero (Billy) of Greeley; sixteen grandchildren: Trinity, Phillip, Autumn, Melonie, Jeniece, Robert Braden, Jerrett, Izrael, Xzavier, Robert III, Nicholas Jr., Megan, Diego, Adreina, Brooklynn, and an unborn grandson. He is also survived by his sisters Linda Romero (Juan) of New Mexico and Rose Perez of Greeley; brothers Paul Romero (Kim) of Loveland, Sam Romero (Isabel) of New Mexico, George Romero (Shimmy) of Loveland and Chris Romero of Loveland. LeeRoy loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards with his sisters and brothers and working on cars with his sons. He spread his love through his passion of playing the guitar and singing to his family and friends, which brought many smiles to their faces. He worked as a Mechanic and worked with his brother Paul at Pioneer Trailer Park. He is preceded in death by his wife Lori, father and mother Edward and Susana Romero, sister Connie Medina, brothers Gilbert Romero, Phillip Romero, sister-in-law MaryJane Romero, brothers-in-law Moises Medina, and Louise Perez. A celebration of Life will be held at Viegut Funeral Home on July 11, 2018 at 10:30 am with a reception following at Viegut Reception Center, 1616 N. Lincoln Ave. Loveland, CO 80538.
