Robert Joseph Scavo
June 22nd, 1932 - November 6th, 2014
Robert Joseph Scavo, age 82 of Greenwood Village, passed peacefully on November 6, 2014. †œBob†� as his friends knew him, is preceded in death by his son, Kenny. He is survived by his wife Carolyn and three children: Mark Scavo and spouse Patti, daughter-in-law Tina Scavo, Cris Tovani and her spouse Pete, and son Rob Scavo. Ten grandchildren and many loving friends and neighbors survive him. Bob grew up in old North Denver, graduated from Regis High School and attended the University of Colorado where he met his wife Carolyn. Bob was commissioned by the United States Air Force and served his duty in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Returning to Denver, he started Standard Fence Company that continue to be run by his eldest son. The funeral will be held at Church of the Risen Christ 3060 S. Monaco Pkwy, Denver, 80227 on November 13th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society: Rocky Mountain Chapter 720 S. Colorado Blvd. Ste. 500-S, Denver, CO 80246
