Robert (Bobby) John Sharp
March 4, 1960-August 21, 2024
Bobby Sharp was born on March 4,1960 in Meriden, Connecticut and passed away on August 21, 2024 in Tacoma, Washington. He was surrounded by his loving family after a valiant fight with his health.
Bobby moved with his family from Meriden Connecticut to Federal Way, Washington in July 1975 at the age of 15. He attended Totem Jr High then Thomas Jefferson High School. Began learning the trade of painting with his Stepfather, then went into working for other popular painting companies in Western Washington. He eventually moved to Eastern Washington where he spent much of his adult life as an interior / exterior painter on homes, restoring cars, and doing carpenter repair work.
If Bobby, (AKA Hollywood Bob) were to tell his story, he would say “he was the best at everything and anything”! The best at fishing, the best painter, the best card player, the best dancer, the best pool player and smarter than anyone who knew him. He loved to box, hoping to be an MMA fighter one day! He always cheated to win at UNO with the rest of his family. He so hated losing......Ha Ha Ha! Though, He was an amazing cook when it came to leftovers!
Bobby loved his family, he is now resting in heaven with his (Mother) Edna Smith, (Stepfather) Stuart Smith, (Sister) Robin Smith and (Brother) Albert Smith II. He is survived by (Brother) Joe Sharp, (Sisters) Brenda (Sharp) Baker and Laurie (Smith) Coogan, along with many nieces and nephews across the states.
Bobby had an amazing love of life that carried, that kept him strong through many of life's challenging times. His childlike jokester humor was contagious as he would prank anyone for a good laugh. He left us peacefully into the arms of Jesus as his Lord as his Savior.
