Robert (Bob) A. Sherrill Bob was born to Dorothy and James Sherril on 2-17-1917 at Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Maxine, son Jerry, step son Bud, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by a son Robert, step son Tom, a step daughter Lavonne, 2 sisters Laberta and Vickie, grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Bob was in the Navy in World War II where he served on a torpedo boat in the South Pacific. He lived in Idaho most of his life, and occasionally he worked out of state. He was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for several companies, including Gibbons & Reed, McGregor Triangle and Redmon Construction. He was still operating heavy and farm equipment into his 90s. He grew up loving to hunt and fish, then later in life he loved to garden and cook. He will be missed by all who knew him. Bob will be buried in Cloveradale Cemetery next to his wife Maxine. A memorial gathering will be held at the ranch where he lived in Greenleaf. Service Information
