Robert John Soscia

Robert John Soscia 75 of Treasure Island passed away peacefully at home on 8-3-2013. Robert is survived by his beloved wife Sandra. Robert had a blended family which included: son John Soscia (Tami) and his children Kristen and Kyle; daughter Christine Soscia and daughter Monique; son Robert Soscia (Lisa) and son Cody; son Steven Soscia (Gina) and sons David, Austen, Steven, and Alexander; Brianne Soscia and daughter Kaia. Sandra's children: Charles Languasco and son Charles; Shirley Schull (Shawn); Ronald Languasco (Geralyn) and son Bryan; Sean Languasco and son Sean Jr. and daughter Rae Lynn; Amy Tejchman and sons Albert, Alexander and Adin Sanchez. Robert leaves behind a brother George Soscia (Iris) and daughters Cheryl and Susan. Bob was predeceased by his parents Louis and Evelyn Soscia. Bob is a former Marine and electrical engineer in the space program on Merritt Island, Florida during the 60's. He became a stock broker and financial planner for his remaining years passing the business along to his two daughters. Bob was very active his whole life. He was athletic and enjoyed running marathons, hiking (he hiked across the Grand Canyon twice in his 60's), boating, fishing etc. He and his wife travelled extensively. He was a jokester. He always had a new joke (or an old one) to tell. He thoroughly enjoyed his life, family and many friends. He will be truly missed by all. A memorial service will be held at a later date. David C.
