Obituary Robert "Bob" Thomsen, 69, of Lexington, Kentucky and husband of Lynn Ellen Woodhouse Bliffen Thomsen, died Monday, July 18, 2011. He was born September 23, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Irving and Mildred Petersen Thomsen. Bob was a former elder at Southland Christian Church and served in Men's Ministry, First Touch Ministry, leader in grief support, Sunday School teacher for 3 year olds and Helping Through Him. He also was a part of Chefs for Christ and Ironman. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Dawn Marie (Ronnie) Nash, Susan Ann Thomsen, Todd Wayne (Staci) Thomsen, Scott (Cindy) Bliffen, Jeff (Michelle) Bliffen, Amy Donaldson and Chad (Becky) Bliffen; 16 grandchildren, Price (Jennifer) Thomsen, Jacob Nash, Joshua (Kathryn) Nash, Evan (Sarah) Thomsen, Michael Walker, Dalton Bliffen, Mariah Bliffen, Madeline Bliffen, Emily Bliffen, Chloe Bliffen, McKenna Bliffen, Shelby Conley, Abby Conley, Bradley Bliffen, Scarlett Bliffen and Luke Bliffen; great granddaughter, Raegan Mae Thomsen; his brother and sister, Ralph and Carole Thomsen; his brother and sister-in-laws, Marjorie Sinclair, Richard Westerberg and Chuck (Sally) Woodhouse; and special friend Lois Pietchman. Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie Lou Westerberg Thomsen. Funeral Information Visitation will be 4-7 pm, Friday, July 22, 2011 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing. Funeral service will follow at 7 pm, with Rev. Ernie Perry and Dr. Keith Keeran officiating.
