Robert F. Wall

Mr. Robert F. Wall, 73, of East State Street, Fort Plain died suddenly on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Little Falls Hospital. Born in Amsterdam, NY on December 26, 1940 he was the son of the late William and Mildred Fredericks Wall. A lifelong area resident, Bob graduated from high school in Sharon Springs and went on to attend Cobleskill Ag & Tech. He also served proudly with the United States Coast Guard for a time. Bob was employed for Beech- Nut in Canajoharie for many years as a night cleaner. He also owned and operated his own farm. He loved his family dearly, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, William Wall, Jr. Survivors include his children, Shana (Edward) Eichner, Tammi Smith (John Cullom), Robert Wall, Jeffery (Natasha) Wall, Thomas Wall, James (Crystal) Wall, Jessica Wall (Brian Tucci), Zach Wall, Matthew Mickel, Jacob Vogal, Kathy Stockit, and Adam Snyder; his significant other, Kathy Talarico; his sister, Betty (Skip) Donahue; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Susan Wall, Brian Wall, Faith, Jim, Kevin and Andrew Mickel. Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 11 until 1p.m. at the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Cremation took place at Vale Cemetery Crematorium.
