Robert F. Warnock, 82, died April 12, 2020, at his home in Warner Robins, Georgia. At his request, no service will be held. Robert “Bob” Warnock was born August 6, 1938, in Providence, Rhode Island. Mr. Warnock served in the United States Air Force, during the Vietnam War where he made this his career for the next 24 years. He had tours throughout the States and in the South Pacific during his active duty tenure. While he was in Okinawa, Japan he met and married Fumiko "Fumi or Miko" Tomori in Sapporo, Japan on November 2, 1964. They were married until her death early Christmas morning December 25, 2011. In 1973, Mr. Warnock came to Georgia with his wife, Fumiko and daughter, Terry. Upon retiring from the United State Air Force, he immediately started working on base at Warner Robins Air Force Base and continued to work there for another 25 years. He retired from the United States Air Force and Robins Air Force Base with a combined service of 50 years for the Government of United States of America. Mr. Warnock could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. His early life hobbies include snorkeling in the beautiful waters of Okinawa, Japan and developing scenic and family photos in his darkroom. His hobbies included his childhood love of wood working and designing his model trains set. Bob and Fumi use to love traveling and trying out different locally owned restaurants in the many places they would visit. They made many friends in the restaurants they visited or often frequented. Mr. Warnock preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary; wife, Fumiko; sister Gladys; sister Marion; brother, Richard; sister, Alice. Mr. Warnock is survived by his daughter, Terry of Salt Lake City, UT until his fall in 2018 when she moved in with Mr. Warnock; sister Patricia (James-who passed a week before from Covid-19) Shanley; brother David (Lydia)Warnock of Plymouth, MA. He quietly adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren; grandchildren, Jared Masa Yoshi (Monet) Montemayor; Kevin (Aubrey) Montemayor; Bryan (Jessica) Montemayor; Shane Montemayor; Catalina (Steven)Rindlisbacher; great-grandchildren, Aedyn Wolf; Ezra Jay Rindlisbacher, Lucas Anthony Rindlisbacher, Gabriel Seth Rindlisbacher, and Exodus Legion MasaAki Montemayor. Mr. Warnock as been diagnosed with dementia and his health was going downhill due to his age. We will miss him dearly but he is now in the arms of our Heavenly Father and with his loving wife Fumiko.
