WATTENBERG, ROBERT "BOB" EDWARD, 73 passed away Sunday,February 26, 2012 at Hospice Care of Boulder and Broomfield County in Louisville, Colorado after a long battle with cancer. Bob was born in Denver, Colorado January 5, 1939. He was raised on a farm near Ft. Lupton where he attended High School. He was drafted into the army and spent 2 years as a Crew Chief working on helicopters in Korea. Bob was a member of the American Legion. During his working career he was a truck driver, truck mechanic and Chief Engineer at East Balt Bakery. Bob was a member of the American Legion. He was an outdoorsman, loved fishing, camping and hunting. Bob was preceeded in death by his parents, Louise and Henry and 1 brother. He is survived by: his wife, Barbara; children, Quin, Brenda, Terry and Ricky; 2 stepchildren, Jerry and Kim; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by: his brothers: Fred, Jim, Donny and sisters Florence and Mary. There is a Memorial Service on Friday, March 2 at the First Presbyterian Church of Brighton, (510 S. 27th Ave.) starting at 3:00 pm. A family interment is scheduled at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Monday. Donations may be made to the Hospice of Boulder and Broomfield County Birth: Jan 5, 1939, Denver, Colorado Death: Feb 26, 2012, Louisville, Colorado
