Roberta M O'Brien

Roberta M O'Brien, age 72, of Largo, passed away on December 30, 2022. She met her husband, John, in 1990, in Syracuse, NY. They enjoyed being together with their children and spending time together. As their children got older, Roberta and John would take them camping. One of their favorite locations was the Adirondack Mountains in New York. Roberta was jack of all trade at crafting; there was no craft she couldn't master. Some of her favorite activities included quilting, scrapbooking, sewing, making tumblers and creating jewelry. Roberta and John retired and moved to Florida. She courageously battled with cancer from her intial diagnosis in 2010, but she never let cancer stop her from enjoying her favorite activities. They enjoined Palm Pavillion on Clearwater Beach, where she could enjoy the beach from a shaded area. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Robert. She is survived by her husband, John O'Brien, of Largo; her daughter Jennifer Glass of Indiana; son Jeffrey Herlowski of New York; and three grandchildren. She will be dearly missed from her friends who are located all over the country. The family plans on Celebrating Roberta's Life at a later date.
