Robertine Roix
June 26th, 1930 - September 21st, 2014
Robertine (Tiny) Roix, 84, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014. She was born in Presque Isle, Maine, June 26, 1930, the daughter of Delbert and Ethel (Walker) Roix, both deceased. Tiny married CJ (Jay) Woertz in 1979 where they lived together in Bloomington, Indiana, before moving to Melbourne, Florida. She is a member of the Rockledge United Methodist Church. She was active in various organizations through the years, including holding several offices in the Alpha Delta Omega Phi Tau Sorority. She graduated from Presque Isle High School and Aroostook School of Commerce, Presque Isle. She is survived by her children Gayle Higgins of Ellettsville, Indiana; Candi Orndoff (Steve) of Cocoa, Florida; and Hal Billerbeck of Texas; stepson Eric Woertz (Stephanie), of Ft. Pierce, Florida; grandchildren Stacy Clark (Jared) of Crawfordsville, Indiana; Christopher Orndoff of Cocoa, Florida; Alexander Billerbeck of Ovieda, Florida; and Elle Posten (Tyler), of Gainesville, Florida; great-granddaughter Stella Posten; brother Robert Roix (Delores) of Hartford, Connecticut; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Ralph Roix. Friends may call Friday, September 26, 5:30-8:00 p.m. at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Homes and Crematory, 5400 Village Drive, Viera. Funeral services will be held at the Rockledge United Methodist Church, 1935 S Fiske Blvd, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, with a luncheon in the fellowship hall following the service. Interment at Florida Memorial Gardens on US 1 will follow lunch. Memorial donations may be made to the Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation, 100 Park Avenue, Suite 108, Rockville, MD, 20850 or the organization of your choice.
