Obituary Robyn Dean Cross (Coyle), 65, of Lexington, Kentucky and wife of Leland T. Cross, passed into God's loving arms on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Dean Morton Coyle of Nonesuch, Kentucky and Jean Isobel Coyle of Footscray, Australia. Robyn was retired from Lynn Imaging in Lexington, Kentucky where she worked for 18 years as the Office Manager and eventually, Controller. After her retirement, she took a job as a Cashier at Kroger in Tates Creek Center where she worked for 5 years. She was well loved by co-workers and customers alike. Robyn enjoyed cooking and was always happy to serve a meal to anyone that came into her home. She was an artist, who was always painting, sketching, sewing, making jewelry and all kinds of different kinds of things. She could "make a silk purse from a sow's ear". She loved camping with her family and loved to be outdoors in general. She was always first to lend a hand to someone in need, a kind word to a downhearted friend and lived her life in a way that positively influenced every person who knew her. She was loving, generous, kind, gentle, funny and every bit of the lady she was raised to be. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Leland; their 2 daughters, Regina and Christy Cross; her grandchildren, Jesse, Andrea, Lauryn and Chaz Cross; 3 stepchildren whom she loved dearly; Craig (Lisa Beth) Cross, Scott (Jamie) Cross and Cindy Marcus (Charlie Taylor). In addition, she had numerous step grandchildren that she loved; Anthony (Christy), Shane (Shannan), Michael and Cameron Cross, Jeremy Rhea, Emily Cross, Zach, Todd and Alex Bradley, Robert Marcus, Travis Marcus (Tasha); a brother, Jack Coyle (Linda) and many nieces, nephews and close friends who loved her, as well as 8 Chihuahuas that were her "babies"; Lincoln, Tucker, Capone, Angel, Juji, Bizzy, Simon and Boogie. Funeral Information Services will be 6:00 pm, Tuesday October 23, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, with a Pot Luck Dinner Reception following until 8:00 pm. If you would like, please bring a covered dish or dessert and stay to celebrate Robyn's life and the incredible legacy of love that she leaves behind. Service will be officiated by Robyn's lifetime friend, Carol Feltner.
