July 24th, 1959 - February 17th, 2019
A visitation for Rodney Teel Blackmon, Jr., 59, of West Columbia, will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. Mr. Blackmon passed away February 17, 2019. Born in Conway, SC he was a son of the late Rodney Teel Blackmon, Sr. and Betty H. Blackmon. Rodney served his country in the US Navy, and had worked for Lexington School District #2 as a custodian at George I Pair Elementary School. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Rodney is survived by his loving mother, Betty Blackmon; sisters, Erica Osborne of West Columbia; Lisa Blackmon of West Columbia; brother, James Blackmon of West Columbia; nieces and nephews, Michael Sturkie, Chris Blackmon, James Blackmon, Jr., April Blackmon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pets, Inc. 300 Orchard Drive, West Columbia, SC, 29170.
