Winston-Salem – Rodney Allison Decker,58, died at home after a brief illness on July 25, 2014. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Friday August 1, 2014 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Chapel. Rod was born March 1, 1956 in Forsyth County to Kathleen (Hicks) and Don (deceased). He is survived by his wife of 19 years Kirsten (Tremblay) and two sons Paul and Derek; brothers Kerry and Barry and several nieces and nephews. Rod was an electrician in the Winston –Salem area since 1974. He most recently worked at Sammy Phillips Electric Company. Rod was also the proprietor of Rod’s Auto Trim. The family will visit with friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to the Rod Decker Memorial Fund care of Truliant Federal Credit Union.
