Roger Fallon
1939-2024
It is with an extremely heavy heart and great sadness that we share the passing of our loving father and husband, Roger Fallon. Roger was born on May 10, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in Middletown, NY with his parents Kathleen and Arthur Fallon. This is where he met his wife of almost 63 years, Anne Toner. After a Navy tour, they were married and had 4 children. Roger’s management job at IBM took him to Red Hook, NY, Tucson, AZ and Round Rock, TX. After retiring, Roger and Anne made it back to Tucson. Roger was a faithful member of his Church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, and volunteering when needed. His time at TMC and Catholic Community Services lunch program was a volunteer job he loved as much as the people he served. Our dad showed his compassionate nature, giving spirit and witty sense of humor to everyone he met. His personality brought warmth and joy, while his smile would light up a room. Roger’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His inspiring legacy of kindheartedness will live on for generations to come. Roger is survived by the love of his life, Anne and their children; Barbara (Dave) Nelson, Vincent (Christine) Fallon, Kathleen (Tom) Thompson, Alison (James) Riley. He adored his 9 grandchildren; Tasha Lawson, Katie Fallon, Tyler Fallon, Samantha Pickeral, Connor Nelson, Haley Powell, Fallon Brungardt, Matt Fallon, and Lexy Riley. Roger cherished his 3 great grandchildren; Luke Roger Lawson, Brynlee Anne Brungardt and Emma Jean Pickeral.
Roger’s life lesson ~ Give a lot of compliments and always be kind-hearted.
Roger’s spirit will continue to brighten our lives, reminding us to embrace each day with appreciation, grace and compassion. Rest in peace dad. We love you. We thank you for being our dad.
