Roger W. French SR. †œRED†� will be missed by all who knew him. His compassion, caring, determination extended to each person he met. Roger started out life in Glens Falls, N.Y., his childhood journeys allowed him the extreme pleasure of working on a Dairy Farm. His love of sports started with soccer, tennis and baseball. After High School Graduation, his life journey soon provided the grand experience of working in Wyoming on a ranch for his summer job. Roger finally arrived in Denver for college attending Denver University. Roger enlisted in the Air Force and was a member of the Corp of Engineers. He wanted to continue his education in the Engineering field, serve his country and provide for his family. His military experience found him in Japan during the Korean War. As a Veteran of Foreign War, Roger spent many years in his retirement, honoring all Veterans on their final journey, by actively participating in the All Veterans Funeral Detail. He also was the Commander of the VFW in Golden. As Roger raised his children he actively participated in Scouts, Sports, Education and Politics. He was always focused on working with Honor, Integrity, Determination and Dedication. He made sure to teach these values to his three children. His legacy will continue on in his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also an avid outdoorsman the mountains, fishing, hunting, camping. Any chance he could you would find him in the outdoors. As his journeys continue, in 1977 he married his wife Donna J. French. Their journeys took them to numerous states and countries. The love they shared, the good times they had and the life shared with their combined families. Roger is survived by his wife Donna, Children Lou Haynes (Jim), Roger W. French Jr., Merianne Steinback (Fred), Step Children Marlene McLemore (Bob), Jeff Hamilton (Helen), Janice Hogan. Grandchildren: Jamie Haynes, Sandra Goans, Todd Goans, Christopher Haynes (Karla), David Goans (Sophia), Colin Haynes, Lauren Abril (Santiago), Sean French, Christopher, Spencer, Brooke, Sarah, Ben, Nathan, and Andrew. Great-Grandchildren: Steaven, Anthony, Daniel, Colton, William, Amelia, Lily, Zane, Jensen, Isabella, Vincent, Carla, Tyler and Jamesien. Birth: Aug 1, 1930, Glens Falls, New York Death: Oct 13, 2012, Denver, Colorado
