Warner Robins, GA: Mr. Roger L. Griffin, 84, passed away in Atlanta, GA on Tuesday, February 1st, 2011. Visitation will be held at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 3rd, 2011. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 4th, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held in Parkway Memorial Gardens with full Military Honors. Roger was born to the late Mr. William M. and Willie Melita Garrison Griffin on August 26, 1926 in Gastonia , North Carolina. He served in the U.S. Army infantry in World War II he was also a retired United States Air Force Veteran. Roger was a retired Civil Service Electronics Technician from Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife Carol Gill Griffin of Warner Robins, GA; Daughters, Bambi Larry Cofer Yeomans, Centerville, GA; Brenda Mike deCardenas, Byron, GA; Grandchildren; Amy Michael Huff, Warner Robins, GA; Lacy Livingston, Brandon deCardenas, Mobile, Alabama, Brandon proudly serves in the U. S. Coast Guard, Mobile, AL; Great Grandchildren; Harlee Huff, Lillie and Lexxie Livingston, all of Warner Robins, GA; Sister, Nancy Donald McSwain, Sharon, South Carolina also Numerous Nieces and one Nephew. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
