Wales, Roger F. Tetreault, 73, died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9th while delivering a load of wood, something he truly loved. Born in Springfield he was the son of Zenon and Rita Tetreault. Roger proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He and his son Brian co-owned and operated Tetreault and Son Forestry Management for the past 29 years. He truly enjoyed being in the woods and working with his logging equipment. Roger also enjoyed skiing, trips to the beach and time on his boat at Lake George. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 53 years, Rose (Galipeau) along with their children, Tammy Tetreault-Pascale and her husband Rick and Brian Tetreault and his partner, April Marlborough, along with three cherished granddaughters, Jade, Jasmine and Marissa. His sister, Jacqueline St. Laurent also survives him. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Raymond. A Funeral Mass will be on Friday, February 14 at 10:00 am at St. Christopher's Church in Brimfield, family and friends may gather at the funeral home by 8:45 am. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Anne's Cemetry in Sturbridge. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 North Main St. Please visit www.beers and story.com to sign the online condolence register.
