Roger A. Thomas of Englewood, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022. He was born September 9, 1933 to Ellen M. (Smith) and Charles Thomas in Lilly Chapel, OH. Roger married Vera King Anast February 24, 1973. Vera passed away April 20, 2021. He was raised in Ohio where he was a truck driver. After moving to Englewood in 1961 he was employed at the True Value for 27 years. After retirement he worked at the Englewood United Methodist Church where he was a member. He is survived by his brother Gene of Grove City, OH. Cousins Judy and Ron Conklin of Englewood and his loving Goddaughter Deborah Parascondola of Englewood. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Englewood United Methodist Church 700 E. Dearborn St. Englewood, FL 34223. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to EUMC Capital Improvement Fund.
