Roger Dale Watford

Roger was a very good hearted person that would give you the shirt off his back. He loves family and would do anything to help family or anyone in need. He has worked very hard in his life and was a master in the carpentry trade. He has had A LOT of sorrow in his life but his blessings absolutely out weighted any of the sorrow. He accepted the Lord many years ago. He would tell me “ I know people think I am crazy as I walk down Remount Rd talking. They surely believe I am talking to myself but I am not. I am talk to my FATHER GOD. “ He has many friends that think the world of him. He loved God and second the HIM was his dog, Shaman. They have spent 24/7 together for 7 ½ years with the exception on a couple of overnight hospital stays. Any time he had to leave Shaman home while he went to the store, doctors, etc. he would kiss Shaman on the forehead 3 times and said that was for The Father, Son and Holy Ghost to protect him. They would sit on the sofa daily and Roger would read “The Upper Room” devotional to Shaman. He will be sadly miss by his family and friend.
