Roger Ray Wilke

Roger R. Wilke of Waukesha, died on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 74 years. Roger was born on June 18, 1943 the son of Raymond and Linda Wilke. He married Marsha Krueger on December 27, 1969. Roger proudly served the City of Waukesha for thirty years as an Equipment Operator for the fire department. He was also a longtime active member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waukesha. Roger enjoyed fishing, playing sheepshead, reading, and was an avid fire department patch collector. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Roger served his country in the United States Navy. Roger will be forever missed by his wife, Marsha; sons, Andrew and Aaron (Sarah) Wilke; granddaughter, Hayden, grandson, Christian; 3 sisters, and other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister. The visitation for Roger will be held from 11:00 am until the time of the 1:00 pm funeral service on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Rev. Scott Oelhafen will be officiating. Burial with military honors will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha (please meet at the cemetery).
