Biography Kernersville-Roger Lee Willard, Jr., 59, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 17, 2013. Graveside Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday July 19, 2013 in the Holly Springs Church Cemetery in Mt. Airy. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Lee Willard, Sr. Survivors include his mother, Thelma Doris Willard of Kernersville; wife of 41 years, Jo Ann Phillips of the home; sons Roger Wayne Willard of East Bend and Jerry Dale Willard of Belews Creek; sister Diane Smith of Kernersville; brother Gary Willard of Conway, South Carolina; grandchildren Cameron, Kara, James, and Audrielle; several nieces and nephews. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 1:30 - 2:30 PM Friday at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel.
