Romana R. Salazar, 93, passed away in Salinas, after a lengthy illness. Romana loved to cook for her family and having everyone around her. She enjoyed reading and attending her Jehovah Witness meetings. Romana always helped people when they asked and always had a kind word for everyone. She was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother. Romana was loved by many and will be missed by all. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
