Romualdas Dulskis
May 31st, 1925 - April 18th, 2014
Romualdas (Rom) Dulskis entered into eternal life with The Lord April 18, 2014. He was born in 1925 in Kaunas, Lithuania to Romualdas and Adele Dulskis. After arriving in the United States of America in 1949, Rom was drafted into the US Army and served in Korea from 1951 to 1953. Upon completion of his service he attended the University of Connecticut, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering in 1957. In June of 1957, he married Aldona and soon after started in a position with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Instrumentation Lab Defense Research Staff in Cambridge, MA. In 1969, he was promoted to the position of Associate Division Leader of the Poseidon Instrumentation Lab. After MIT divested its Instrumentation Lab in 1973 and it became the Charles Stark Draper Lab, Rom continued his career there, ultimately transferring to its Cape Canaveral Air Force Station location in 1979. In 1989 Rom retired in his “dream” spot of Cocoa Beach. Rom is survived by his wife of 56 years, Aldona; his children, Rom (Chrystal) and Daiva (Ben Inghram); his grandchildren, Alec, Davis, and Jarrett Dulskis; and his sisters, Aldona Dambrava and Dr. Danute Valiunas. A memorial service will be held Saturday May 03, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Church of Our Saviour in Cocoa Beach.
