Ronald Lee Bernard, 77, of Punta Gorda Florida, passed away June 22, 2023 at his home. He was born to the late William H and Magdalen Trent-Bernard on April 23, 1946 in Rochester, New York. He attended Penfield SR. High School and went on to attend the University of Rochester. Ron owned and operated a well drilling company. When not working Ron could be found on the water. He loved boating and fishing. Ron is survived by two sisters, Diane Bernard and Donna Bernard. In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his brothers, Newel L. and Albert Bernard, a sister, Gerry Barber as well as a loving partner, Sylvia O. Iachetta.
