Ronald Arvid Brown Resident of Walnut Creek December 25, 1938 January 21, 2014 With heavy hearts, we announce that Ron passed away suddenly on January 21, 2014 at the age of 75. He was born and raised in Eureka, CA where he made many life-long friends. Ron graduated with EHS class of 1956 and was employed by Pacific Bell for over 35 years. He is survived by his son, Richard A. Brown; his granddaughter, Holly; his wife, Allynee, all of Walnut Creek; his sister Patricia Long of Eureka; and many nieces and nephews whom he cherished. His favorite pastimes were watching his grand-daughter play soccer, playing golf, and traveling to Eureka to visit friends and family. Visitation and quiet time will be on January 29th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Oak Park Hills Chapel 3111 North Main St, Walnut Creek. Ron will be interred at Ocean View Cemetery in Eureka on February 1, 2014, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, Ron requested donations be made in his name to the Eureka High School Athletic Dept, 1915 J St, Eureka 95501, EHS class of '56 Music Scholarship, 373 Indianola Rd., Bayside, CA 95524.
