Ronald "Lynn" Darnell
December 10th, 1953 - February 4th, 2024
Ronald “Lynn” Darnell, 70, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and also enjoyed NASCAR. Lynn also enjoyed watching old westerns and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Virginia Darnell; brothers, Richard Darnell, Terry Darnell, and Dennis Darnell; sister, Louise Darnell Boggs. Survivors include his wife, Alyssa Moore; sisters, Judy Darnell Lawson, Nancy Darnell; brother, Gary “Doorknob” Darnell; special sister-in-law, Tonya Castle; along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. A memorial service will follow with Pastor Travis Jenkins and Pastor Alan Culbertson officiating. Music will be provided by Phyllis Culbertson.
