Ronald Paul Grimes
November 18th, 1947 - June 17th, 2022
Ronald P. Grimes 11/18/47 - 6/17/22 Ron Grimes was born and raised in Denver, attending Brown Elementary, Lake Jr High and North High School, and the Colorado School of Mines. He served 3 years in the Army as an electronics specialist stationed in Germany. On his return, he lived several years in California, working for Boeing Aircraft. With advanced training and experience, he spent most of his years working as a maintenance mechanic for computer chip manufacturers including Micron, Atmel and Intel, in the US and Europe. Ron loved beaches, billiards, beer and BMWs, eBay and eclipses, fossils and fireworks, poker and pitbulls, and all things bright and beautiful. He was loyal to his friends and generous to a fault. Preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Stella Grimes, he is survived by brother Bill (Jill) Grimes and sisters Kathy (Jim) Ferris and Margaret Nelson.
