Ronald Edward Haynes

November 14, 1939 – July 3, 2017 Ronald Edward (Ron) Haynes, Sr. of Daniel Island, South Carolina, and formerly of Moneta and Roanoke, Virgina, passed peacefully on Monday, July 3, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Edward Haynes and Norma Haynes Colley. He is survived by his former wife Ellen Bollinger Haynes, his loving children Ronald Edward (Ron) Haynes, Jr., Page Haynes Hurley, son-in-law John Hurley and granddaughter Olivia Devore Hurley of Roanoke, VA, Vicky Lynn Haynes and grandson Keaton Jax Grennan of Charlotte, NC. His sisters, Loretta Gimbert and brother-in-law Gerald Gimbert of Daniel Island, SC and Bonnie Robbins and brother-in-law Carl (Dane) Robbins of Murrells Inlet, SC. He also leaves behind many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family. Ron will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, love of sharing stories over cocktails and spending time with family and friends boating and skiing at SML. His physical absence, and our loss is profound, though we rest in the assurance that he will remain at peace, and deep within our hearts for eternity.
