Hilliard, Ronald ?Ron?, 51, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, March 19, 2004 at home after a long battle with cancer. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he came here from Pennsylvania in 1973. He retired from St. Anthony?s Hospital in 2003, where he worked as the Executive Chef for 11years. He was a member of Lutheran Church of the Cross. He had coached the Northeast Raiders soccer team since 1986 and catered to performers such as Rod Stewart, The Allman Brothers, Motley Crew, and Liberace. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jolene R.; his mother: Mary Hilliard, of Pittsburgh, PA; four sons: J. R., James, and Christopher, all of St. Petersburg, and Ron of Tampa; five sisters; one brother; and one granddaughter. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel.
