Frankfort Ronald L. Jones, 81, husband of Myrtle Marie Houchens Jones, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 27, 1932 to the late Roy Lee Jones and Laverne Cora Crapp Jones in Linden, Wisconsin. Mr. Jones was a Customer Service Representative with Columbia Gas for 22 years, a lifetime member of the VFW Post 4075 and a member of Westview Baptist. He was also a 12 year veteran of the Army and served his country in Korea and Vietnam. Mr. Jones enjoyed fishing, watching baseball games and was an avid Braves fan. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Mary Ann (Herman) Miller, Linda Spaulding, Judy (Robert) Nowell, and Joan (Bill) Rodgers, all of Frankfort; his daughter-in-law, Ingrid Spencer of TN; his sister, Gaye Peacock; his brother, Leroy Jones, both of WI; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his son, George T. Spencer and his son-in-law, Hugh Spaulding. Funeral Information Services will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, December 14th at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, with Pastor Gary Hager officiating. His grandsons will serve as casketbearers and his granddaughters will serve as honorary casketbearers. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the funeral home.
