Ronald "Ron" Mays, 62, of, Gaston SC passed away May 19, 2017 at his home . He was born on March 7, 1955 in Augusta , Georgia to the late Carl Parrish and Edna (Lewis) Estep. Ron is survived by his daughter Karen Boyd and her husband Bill of North Augusta, SC; two sons, Ronnie Mays of Gaston, SC and Michael Parrish of Lexington, SC; five grandchildren, Mary, Lauryn, and Brandon Boyd, and Austin and Kaitlyn Parrish, one great-granddaughter, Abigail Sawyer, and his significant other, Trilla Mays. He was preceded in death by his grandson Jonathan Parrish. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to assist in covering the funeral expenses. Send donations to Woodridge Funeral Home in care of Ronald Mays, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the Gazebo at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 2907
