Ronald Wayne Olivero
May 29th, 1951 - July 22nd, 2023
Ronald Wayne Olivero passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, in Pine Grove, CA at the age of 72. Ron was born May 29, 1951, in Oakland, CA to Constanza and Dorothy Olivero. Ron is survived by his wife of 40 years, Christine Olivero, son Kevin (Angela) Olivero and daughter Emily (Seth) Norris. His four grandchildren, Naomi and Hudson Norris and Chloe and Kennedy Olivero. He also leaves behind his two brothers Gary Olivero and Eddie (Jenny) Olivero, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. To know Ron was to love him. You could always tell when he was in the room; he was the life of the party. Whether it was being the coach of T-ball, baseball, Jr. High basketball, or cheering on his kids in high school sports, he was always there. You could find him serving up pizza at Boatworks Pizza, dressing up as a “Wizard” for Halloween and Christmas, rubbing elbows with musicians at the Jackson Rancheria, serving up crab or shrimp for the Jackson Lions Club, or his favorite; holding one of his 4 grandchildren in his lap (he was PAPA). Ron lived BIG and loved larger. Our hearts are broken that he is no longer with us, but we are at peace knowing he has left a lasting impression on so many that knew him. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 9th from 11 am-3 pm at the Amador County Fairgrounds in the Pokerville Hall.
