Ronald (Ron) G Caron
April 12th, 1939 - July 22nd, 2020
Ronald G. Caron (Ron) passed away on Wednesday July 22, 2020 at the age of 81. Ron was born on April 12, 1939 in Methuen, MA to Albert E. Caron and Lillian Bouchard Caron. He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Lee of Woodstock, MD, his son Eric Caron of Rockledge, FL and both of his brothers Frank Caron and Paul Caron, as well as by his parents. Ron is survived by his devoted son Kevin, his grandchildren Douglas and Gabriela Caron, as well as by his sisters Claire Bedard and Janet (Don) Cremins. Ron was a Veteran of the United States Navy, having served as a cryptographer at the NSA in the late 50’s. Ron and Bonnie raised their family in Rockledge, FL, where Ron spent the bulk of his working career as an Independent Sales Rep primarily servicing KSC and PAFB. Ron loved playing tennis and cards but most of all he loved doting on his grandchildren. Ron lived his last year in the loving care of the Solaris Nursing Facility on Merritt Island. The love, devotion and friendship provided by Management and Staff truly made Ron’s final months some of his happiest. We will be celebrating Ron’s life this Sunday July 26 from 6PM to 8PM at Jack & Harry’s: Famous Food & Brews on Merritt Island; the family invites you to come out and raise a cold one to Ron.
