Ronald Gary Rundstrom, 86, passed away peacefully at Trident Medical Center on August 18th, 2021. He was born on May 27, 1935, in Washburn, Maine to Warren and Doris Rundstrom. Ron graduated from Washburn High School, and proudly served in the United States Army. Ron worked as a telephone cable splicer until his retirement. Ron loved reading, traveling, and was a master woodworker. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Judie Rundstrom, of Summerville; son Kirk (Kim) Rundstrom of Lewiston, ME; daughter Tammy (Dave) Deschesne of Ft. Fairfield, ME; stepson Randy (Patti) Hillyer of Summerville; sister Gerane Sellers of Aurora, CO; as well as 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and his faithful and loving Weimaraner, Jewel. Ron was predeceased by his parents, brother Phillip Rundstrom, stepson Robert Hillyer, and grandchildren Jonathan and Jared Rundstrom. A good man whose memory will be carried by all who met him.
