Ronald "Ron" Lee Six
February 23rd, 1948 - June 26th, 2013
Ronald "Ron" Lee Six, age 65, of Drytown, CA, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at his home. Ron was born in Oakland, Ca on February 23, 1948, a son of the late Edna Frances (Birckhead) and William Thomas Six. He joined the US Navy and served during the Vietnam Conflict, stationed at the Alameda Naval Base. Ron was a past President of the Ione Rotary and a Rotarian in Jackson, member of Gold Country Flyers, radio controlled airplane club. He owned Amador Quick Print in Jackson for many years. Ron married Gail Hooper on June 10, 2006; they had a beautiful garden wedding at the family home in Drytown. Ron is survived by his wife, Gail of Drytown; children, Ron, Jr. and his wife, Melanie six, of Scottsdale, AZ; Paul, and his wife, Zully Six, of Jackson, CA; Rebecca, and her husband, Ron Catorie, of Concord, CA; step-daughter, Amy and her husband, Erik Peterson of Sutter Creek, CA; sister, Virginia, and her husband, Tom Otter, of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Bill, and his wife, Terry Six, of Burson, CA; sister-in-law, Sandy Frey and her husband, Dee Davis of Drytown, CA; grandchildren, Spencer Six, Carson Six, Courtney Six. Celebration of life to be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Amador & Calaveras Counties, PO Box 595, Jackson, CA 95642.
