On March 29, 1956, he married his sweetheart Pic Venturine and moved from Kansas City Missouri to Milwaukie Oregon where they started a family. He started working at the First National Bank while attending night school to study Electronics. After obtaining his degree, he landed a job working for Techtronics and retired in 1983. Soon after retiring, he ventured into sub-contracting for several years and later was hired with a company name OECO. His interests included camping, fishing, hiking, softball, volleyball, and traveling all over the State of Oregon with his family. He enjoyed cooking the Saturday breakfast, and was quite the beer and root beer mixologist. Pic has professed her everlasting love to her soul mate and her heart is broken. She indicated that he was the most wonderful husband, father and grandfather. She will miss him every day until she sees him again. Pic describes her beloved as it reads in the Bible: Love is patient love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13 4-7 He possessed all those characteristics and was truly a great human being. We will miss him much, but knowing he is with the Lord is very comforting.
