Ronald Gene Wasinger 1949-2012 Ron Wasinger of Lakewood, Colorado was found dead on October 13, 2012. Ron was born September 12, 1949 in Denver, Colorado. On March 26, 1968 he married Karen Sue Wasinger. Karen passed away on July 17, 1996. Ron moved to Yampa, Colorado in 1979. Ron owned and operated his own plumbing and heating company. He also served the town of Yampa as a mayor, volunteer fireman and EMT. He leaves his sister, Janice Dawson; two twin daughters, Traci (and Juston) Myers and Jennifer (and Luke) Heinze; his grandchildren, Breanne Heinze and Gabriel Heinze; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 20, at 11:00 am at the Yampa Cemetery with Pastor Bill Dawson officiating. A Memorial Service will be held at Mile Hi Church on November 2nd at 1:00 pm. The church is located at: 9077 W.
